 Butanediol is a chemical compound used in everyday products that is traditionally made from petrochemicals. BioAmber supplies BDO producers with the bio-based alternative that is cleaner, cheaper and of higher purity. As BioAmber continues to expand its operations and participation throughout its own value chain, the company plans to produce commercial quantities of BDO in the very near future.
